We are past the midpoint of this semester. Many of you, I know, are preparing for new modes of teaching (some in-person) in this second quarter. Please let me know if there is a specific resource or support you need in doing so – or find a resource that I should share. I appreciate all of your emails in reply to these resource roundups each week, thank you!
VISION: By December 2020, we can confidently say that our diverse learners have equitable access to high quality educational opportunities that inspire progress toward their individualized goals across learning environments.
As always, use what you need, when you need it. Comment below with how you are using these resources in your own practice.
“How do we meet the moment with creativity and flexibility to get each child the services they need?” This article gives some insight into how other states are approaching provision of services, including compensatory services.
PLANNING FOR INSTRUCTION
- High praise from last week’s chat on Math Intervention, answering the question – where do I start in selecting content for small group math instruction? Check out the video, as well as the slides full of resources.

- A quick article on the why and how of chunking instructional content
MULTILINGUAL LEARNERS
- Loving these resources from Colorin’ Colorado and WIDA on collaboration and co-teaching in service of ELs. While these are specific to ELs, there are so many great learnings for all forms of teacher collaborative teaching.
- How to Develop Culturally Responsive Teaching for Distance Learning
- Love these ELD Choice Boards that cover all the language domains!
