Many districts are moving towards utilizing scripted curricula in general education classrooms. This use of scripted programs adds an additional challenge for effective co-teaching. Read on for three ideas on how to maximize your co-teaching efforts, even when using a scripted curriculum.

In order to identify ways to better support diverse learners and their teachers, Diverse Learners Cooperative interviewed 50+ leaders and teachers in Memphis. The program study focused exclusively on current Memphis charter school programs for students with disabilities (SPED), English language learners (ELL), and students receiving intervention in the RTI program.

Students are being sent home to quarantine unexpectedly and thus missing critical classroom instruction. So what can we do to prevent our students from losing learned skills during time spent away from school and catch them up on what they missed when they return?
